INTRO
Hi, I'm Shakirul Hasan Khan. I'm a software engineer from Bangladesh. For a little over five years I've worked remotely on web, backend, and native apps for Mac and iPhone. I like owning a real piece of a product, from the API to the thing on someone's phone.
Right now that's Ramble. I own Peaches, the meeting agent inside the product: it wakes, joins the call, and turns the conversation into notes and checklists, on macOS, iPhone, and the web.
I also write. Montu Mia's System Design is how I teach distributed systems in Bengali, with an English edition for everyone else. More than 3,000 subscribers, 30,000 unique visitors, and 125,000 page views.
I live in Sylhet. With friends I'm starting Thinking Lab, a small software company. HealthERP is the first product, still being built.
PROJECTS
System design as a story, in Bengali first, English second. 3,000+ subscribers, 30,000+ visitors, 125,000+ page views, 147 GitHub stars.
Link analytics for a newsletter issue. Which story got clicks, grouped, plus file drops with expiring links.
A typing arcade. Word Fall, Type Race, a daily quote. Best on a keyboard.
Peaches is the meeting agent inside Ramble. I own that feature. Python, TypeScript, React, Swift. Internal beta. No outside users yet.
Mac menu bar. Claude Code usage, stats, which model you burned.
Avro phonetic keyboard, rebuilt for Apple Silicon after macOS said the old one would die.
Vocab practice for IELTS, GRE, TOEFL, SAT. Suggestions, quizzes, a list you review.
Track which professors you emailed, so the spreadsheet doesn't rot.
